This article contains spoilers for Tuesday’s (June 25) episode of EastEnders, which is already
available on BBC iPlayer. With Bobby Beale’s (Clay Milner Russell) days on Albert Square numbered,

soap later this summer, but seemingly not before the love triangle between Bobby, Anna Knight (Molly Rainford) and Freddie Slater (Bobby Brazier) is revisited. In scenes from the most recent episode, Freddie arranged a special date for best mate Bobby and Anna on the roof of the Queen Vic, where he served as the couple’s own personal butler. Their hook up sparked a falling out between Freddie and Bobby, with Bobby devastated to hear his pal had slept with the girl he knew he was crushing on. With Anna and Bobby now coupled up, it looks like Freddie is set to come between them once again – is this what will lead to Bobby’s forthcoming departure from Walford? Back in April, it was confirmed that Clay would be leaving EastEnders after five years in the role of Bobby. He is the fifth actor to play the character, with the role recast from previous star Eliot Carrington when the character was released from prison in 2019, after serving time for the murder of his sister Lucy Beale (Hetti Bywater).
