EastEnders fans certain Ruby Allen will be back after spotting ‘major clue’

In tonight’s episode of EastEnders, viewers saw a tearful farewell between Ruby Allen (Louisa Lytton) and Stacey Slater (Lacey Turner). However, some eagle-eyed fans are speculating that Ruby might not be bidding adieu to the Square for good, after noticing a ‘massive hint’.

Following the tragic demise of Martin Fowler, Ruby felt she had no reason to stay in Walford. Her situation worsened when she was blamed for setting Martin’s stall ablaze. But it later emerged that Lily was the real culprit behind the fire – a fact that remains under wraps for now.

The pair shared a heartfelt hug at Martin’s grave, putting their differences aside and expressing their mutual love for Martin before Ruby and Roman set off for Essex.

But Stacey wasn’t the only one to share a poignant goodbye with Ruby. Before her departure, Ruby expressed her gratitude to Zack Hudson (James Farrar) for his unwavering support, especially after he confessed his feelings for her, reports the Mirror.

This has led fans to speculate that Ruby might return to kindle a romance with Zack, despite his close friendship with Martin.

On X, previously known as Twitter, one fan pondered: “are they hinting at zack and ruby or something?” Another wrote: “Ruby looking at Zac with those eyes , she will be back #Eastenders. Viewers were left gripped as a grief-stricken Zack made an advance on Ruby following Martin’s tragic death, only to be rebuffed.

He later expressed remorse, admitting he had misinterpreted the situation while his thoughts were clouded by sorrow. Not only was Zack mourning the loss of his best mate Martin, but he was also grappling with the bombshell revelation that he is the biological father of Nicola Mitchell’s youngest child, Barney.

Louisa, who recently bid farewell to the soap, has opened up about her departure, hinting at a potential comeback. Chatting with The Sun prior to her final scenes being broadcast, Louisa shared: “I left EastEnders a couple of weeks ago. I was only back for six months, to tie in with the 40th and Martin’s exit.

“She added optimistically, “It’s always good to come and go and I never see it as a big thing when I leave because I can be back again!”
