Georgia Jay, who plays Steph Miligan in Emmerdale, has surprised her followers by revealing she has an identical twin sister off-screen.

In the latest episodes of the ITV drama, audiences have been gripped by Steph’s storyline as she grapples with the idea of undergoing plastic surgery after a distressing family secret comes to light.

The character is faced with a life-changing choice following the discovery that she was conceived through sexual abuse, with her grandfather Anthony (portrayed by Nicholas Day) being unmasked as both her mother’s assailant and her biological father.
