Emmerdale villain Meena Jutla is currently serving a lengthy sentence for multiple murders – but, could her return be looming?

Currently in the Dales, Manpreet’s risking her job at the GP surgery to help scheming Joe Tate out following his ‘oh-so-kind’ gesture.

But, will all of this actually land Manpreet in prison? And, could this spell a return for her serial killer sister, Meena? There’s hope…

Manpreet’s bid ‘to help’ Joe and Caleb in Emmerdale

Recently in the Dales, Manpreet had to face a terrifying situation that saw her be blackmailed by a mystery person.

She’d been posting explicit photos of herself online, and someone had seen her secret profile and demanded money from her to buy their silence.

This week, Manpreet decided to meet her blackmailer face to face (risky) but found Joe at the Cricket Pavilion and started to accuse him.

Joe assured Manpreet that it was just a matter of right time, wrong person. He wasn’t her blackmailer (but, he was!)

He kindly offered to give Manpreet the £10k to pay off her blackmailer, arranging for one of his contacts to pose as the ‘actual’ blackmailer so that Manpreet wouldn’t realise that it was him all along.

Joe then asked Manpreet to help him out with a favour… He has AAT and was worried that Caleb might too. But, he didn’t feel comfortable asking him to get tested. Not suspicious at all…

Manpreet then went against the rules and put her job on the line to lure Caleb into the surgery and get tested under false pretences. Of course, she has no idea that Joe cannot be trusted… She’s obviously not got an ear for village gossip.

Huge ‘clue’ Meena Jutla will return to Emmerdale revealed

Fans will know that Manpreet’s sister Meena is currently serving a whopping 75 years in prison for her killing spree.

And, with fans begging for the iconic villain to return sooner rather than later, we reckon Manpreet’s current storyline could be a huge ‘clue’ that Meena is on her way back to the soap.

One fan suggested that Manpreet’s ‘act of kindness’ towards Joe could actually see her head to prison…

The fan took to X and wrote: “I hope Manpreet goes to jail for her involvement with Joe.”

But, if Manpreet does go to prison, she could be thrown into the same prison as her sister.

It’s been proven multiple times that convicted soap villains can make their return one way or another. So, could Manpreet soon be thrown into a cell right next to her sinister sister? We’re begging for it!
