Emotions are aplenty in a particularly sad week for a number of the nation’s biggest soaps, as confirmed in my new spoilers, as the end of an era beckons.

EastEnders bids farewell to Martin Fowler, the very first baby born in the BBC One soap, in what proves to be a devastating affair as a community comes together to remember their most beloved market trader.

Coronation Street, meanwhile, sees Debbie Webster’s visit to the doctors prove upsetting as the ITV kickstarts the storyline that devastated fans last year when Metro exclusively confirmed it.

Hollyoaks welcomes back Warren Fox for a very special throwback episode, Emmerdale’s Kim Tate makes a grave error and Neighbours’ Max Ramsay and Holly Hoyland take a chance on romance.

It’s going to be quite a week and if you’re eager to know all the deets, allow me to take you through every possible spoiler you could need.

EastEnders

1. The day of Martin’s funeral arrives and the market trader’s loved ones prepare for an emotional service. Stacey rocks home drunk while Sonia desperately tries to sober her up in time. Lily lashes out at her mum. Later, Martin is laid to rest.

2. Vicki and Sharon are distraught on the emotional day, with Ross offering to go with the former to the funeral. Sharon voices her concerns, given Alfie’s anger towards him.

3. Ruby’s anger towards Stacey builds following Martin’s funeral and, at the wake, emotions boils over as a confrontation ensues between the former friends, with revelations that could ultimately destroy any hope of them reconciling.

4. Vicki contemplates leaving the Square after the service, though Ross remains hellbent on making her stay.

5. Walford is left in shock as Martin’s stall is set on fire. Stacey vows to Lily that she will find out who is to blame for such a horrible act, though Jack warns that she should leave it to the police.

6. Ruby prepares to leave the Square, with the situation between her and Stacey showing no signs of improvement. Jean urges Stacey to let bygones be bygones but, as she goes to speak to her nemesis, she discovers that Ruby has already left.

Emmerdale

7. Sarah distracts Cain so that Kammy can steal his car and go out for a spin in it. Jacob, unaware of Sarah’s involvement, calls the police. PC Swirling subsequently pulls Sarah over – and she’s taken aback when he insists on looking in the boot.

8. Eric beats himself up over the missing cash as Tracy is wracked with guilt. Confessing to Vanessa, Tracy reveals her plight – and her sister is taken aback and loans her the money to replace the cash she took. Vanessa, however, later gets drunk and lashes out at Tracy, revealing her thievery to Eric, who sacks her on the spot.

9. Kim gets distracted by a work call and accidentally leaves her gun near Thomas. Gabby is furious to find her son playing around near the gun box and confronts Kim, revealing that she’s moving into Wishing Well with Vinny. Kim is taken aback. Life proves difficult for Gabby at the Dingles so Sam intervenes, spinning Kim a lie about Gabby moving to Leeds, which prompts the Home Farm legend to let Gabby live in Dale View instead.

10. John misdiagnoses Kerry, which frustrates Liam, who decides to review all of his work. John opens up to Victoria about the mistakes he’s made as a medic. The following day, Jacob goes into anaphylactic shock as John rushes to his aid.

11. Kim orchestrates a romantic evening for two for Dawn and Billy in the hope that it will help them make a fresh start and get their marriage back on track.

12. Vanessa lashes out at Rhona over Mary’s actions.

Coronation Street

13. Debbie makes a call in the hotel bar, explaining she wants to talk to someone after suffering one or two concerning incidents. At a private clinic, she explains the incidents in question, wondering if it might be down to the menopause. However, the doctor reveals that she may have suffered a mini stroke – and he wants to refer her to be tested for vascular dementia. Debbie reels.

14.Theo apologises to Todd, admitting that he really likes him. Todd invites him back to the house but things take an unexpected turn when he later arrives at Shuttleworths, wanting to arrange a funeral. The subsequent revelation stuns Todd to silence.

15. Tyrone returns home and is happy to find Dorin there. Fiz explains that Alina’s house has been flooded and thus she’s agreed to let them look after Dorin.

16. Abi heads to Freshcos to get some meds for Kevin when she encounters a man called Carl. As he attempts to take her parking space, Abi loses her temper and – shouting that her husband has cancer – she lashes out. Afterwards, she apologises but, as her car fails to start, Carl offers to fix it for her – before asking her out for a drink!

17. Todd suggests to Julie that they set up a crowdfunding page to accumulate funds for her to go on the holiday of her dreams while she still can.

Hollyoaks

18. Joel reels following Tommy’s revelation that he put his brother in hospital and we flash back to the ‘missing’ year where everything becomes clearer, with Joel intervening when Tommy’s brother Billy was bullying him. Warren Fox is seen in the village too, having staged a secret return. Also in the past, Mercedes makes a discovery, Leela opens up and Dodger watches from afar.

19. Dillon and Frankie are manipulated once again by Rex into attending a party thrown by Grace. The teens are anxious but feel as though they’ve got no choice but to attend. Subsequently, the party ends in disaster, with Grace taking action in a bid to silence Dillon and Frankie.

20. Sienna is left reeling when she faces long-lost twin Dodger for the first time in years – but that’s not the only family reunion on the horizon.

21. Donny makes a kind gesture to show Dillon just how loved he is.

Neighbours

22. When Max uses the phrase ‘catch up’, Holly is unsure if their get-together is a date or not. With a new job opportunity up for grabs, Holly goes head-to-head with Taye – and Max is left jealous of their evident chemistry as he plays hard-to-get – on advice from Shane. The miscommunication is cleared up though as Holly and Max share their first kiss.

23. Leo shuts out Krista, who is determined to be there for him – no matter what. The couple ultimately have a conversation about the situation in which they’ve found themselves as Leo opens up about the prospect of facing prison.

24. Terese opens up to Paul about how the sight of him, Chelsea and Thomas together was confronting for her. Paul does his best to make her see that she has nothing to worry about, suggesting that she bond more with Thomas.

25. After getting feedback on his presentation from Karl and Susan, Darcy is confident about convincing Dr. Kayembe to invest in his project. However, when he’s knocked back again, Karl wonders if there is perhaps something else going on.
