Emmerdale viewers are convinced that the iconic character Kim Tate is plotting her revenge on Dawn Taylor, and they predict it won’t end well.
Dawn (played by Olivia Bromley) first appeared on the ITV soap in 2018 and quickly became embroiled in several major storylines in the renowned village.
Particularly this year, when she stunned viewers by beginning an affair with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous), who returned to the show after a six-year absence.
Dawn found herself falling for the villainous Joe, and the feelings were mutual. However, last week saw Joe’s deceptions and lies come to light, making him public enemy number one.
As fans will remember, Joe inadvertently caused the limo crash that resulted in the tragic deaths of Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi), and Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson), reports Leicestershire Live.
In need of a kidney transplant, Joe managed to steal his uncle Caleb’s (William Ash) organ. The truth was eventually revealed during a party at Home Farm earlier this month.
In a shocking turn of events, Joe was pushed out of a window by an unknown individual. It was later disclosed that Joe was in a coma due to a brain haemorrhage.
A host of villagers became suspects, and it was finally confirmed that Dawn was the one who pushed Joe – something he remembered upon waking up but told Dawn he forgave her and still loved her.
Kim Tate (portrayed by Claire King), the formidable step-grandmother in Emmerdale, uncovered the potentially lethal confrontation between Dawn and her step-grandson Joe. Now, devotees of the Yorkshire-based drama are convinced Kim has devised a plan to exact her vengeance on Dawn for the incident.
On an online fan forum dedicated to Emmerdale, some spectators speculate that Kim might disclose to the authorities Dawn’s dark secret concerning the demise of DI Mark Malone back in 2020.
As loyal followers recall, the situation with the corrupt Detective escalated after Dawn reported him for his illicit dealings and his extramarital activities.
In a dramatic twist, Dawn was compelled into a corner by DI Malone wielding a weapon, only to resist and ultimately shoot him dead. Assisted by her father Will (played by Dean Andrews) and Kim taking control of body disposal, the incident concluded with the corpse being interred within the expanse of Home Farm.
Conspiracy theories amongst fans are now rampant, suggesting Kim will blow the whistle on Dawn to law enforcement, leading to her incarceration for murder. One enthusiast posted: “I think Kim’s waiting to go for the best time to be the ruthless Kim we all know and love. Remember she knows about the policeman Dawn murdered….”
Echoing this sentiment, another fan remarked: “I thought this as well!” while a third added their agreement: “That’s a great shout tbf. She helped cover it up but Kim could easily get out of it if she told the police.”
