Emmerdale viewers saw the downfall of Moira Barton (played by Natalie J. Robb)
last October when her whole life was torn apart after Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) found
out about her affair with Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter). Since that explosive day, her
husband has done everything he can to get revenge on the farmer, from kicking her out to stopping her spending Christmas with their sons. As a result, Moira has turned to the bottle for comfort, and it seems her relationship with alcohol could kill her.
In recent weeks, fans of the ITV soap have seen Moira head down a path of self-loathing and destruction in a bid to numb the pain from her catastrophic mistakes.
But now, those watching at home are worried for the farmer, suggesting her incessant need to drink alcohol will end up in her dying.
It comes after Moira ruined a relationship with a supplier after hitting the bottle at 10am one morning.
To add to this, she has been seen leaving her children unaccompanied to head off to the nearest shop when supplies were running low.

More recently, her oldest son Matty Barton (Ash Palmisciano) has been the victim of her anger.
She lost it with him during a drunken temper, lashing out at him leaving him utterly afraid of how far she was willing to go.
Slowly, one by one her friends and family are going to remove themselves from her life and she will have nothing but bitterness and hatred.
According to official soap spoilers Moira is going to find herself unconscious in a couple of weeks.

Others wanted to learn why Moira had no other option then to turn to alcohol.
“There must be a reason why Moira is acting out of character ever since she cheated with Nate she’s ruined her life,” a tweet read.
“So is Moira’s drinking just because her marriage is over? I was really hoping it would be a continuation of what led her to sleep with Nate in the first place, would dig deeper into, as not really had a satisfactory explanation of from Moira’s side,” a fan added.
Elsewhere in the village, there is a chance Liam Cavanagh (Johnny McPherson) could be leaving.
It comes after Bernice Blackstock (Samantha Giles) left to go to Australia after her daughter’s father was in a fatal car accident.
With his fiancé making excuses left, right and centre about returning, will he have to go after her to find out the truth?
