Emmerdale’s Will ‘still alive’ as identity of dead body ‘revealed’ – and Kim’s in for a shock

Emmerdale viewers are convinced that Will Taylor, played by Dean Andrews, isn’t

really dead. The character supposedly d.i.e.d of a heart attack on Christmas Day, following

a heated argument with his wife Kim Tate, portrayed by Claire King. Fans will remember

that the couple had recently rekindled their love after months of conflict, with Kim even suggesting they renew their vows on Christmas Day. However, unbeknownst to Kim, Will was secretly collaborating with her former financial advisor Peter, played by David Michaels, in an attempt to ruin her. Furthermore, it was revealed that Peter was also working for a mysterious person seeking revenge on Kim. This week, the mystery man was unveiled as none other than Joe Tate, played by Ned Porteous. But the plot thickened on Christmas Day. After the vow renewal, Joe made a surprise appearance at Home Farm, leaving Kim stunned. Will suffered a heart attack on Christmas (Image: ITV) He then exposed Will’s plot against her, leading Kim to realise the truth.

She demanded some time alone with Will, who attempted to justify his actions, but Kim declared their marriage over, reports Leeds Live. Suddenly, Will collapsed, bringing down the Christmas tree with him. As he struggled for breath, Kim initially seemed indifferent, but when she realised he was genuinely dying, she panicked and tried to save him. Article continues below Emergency services rocked up, but on the Boxing Day episode on Wednesday (December 26), viewers found out Will sadly kicked the bucket – leaving Kim and his daughter Dawn (Olivia Bromley) utterly devastated.

Yet now, fans are buzzing with speculation that Will might not have actually shuffled off this mortal coil, potentially setting up a massive plot twist. Chattering away online, one viewer speculated: “Knowing Emmerdale will is probably gonna still be alive and hire a body double and come back and clean Kim out. Hey I know it’s far-fetched but it’s soapland.” Meanwhile, another chimed in with: “Wouldn’t surprise me. It’s all getting daft and out of hand.” Another superfan took to the wild side with a theory that Will could be hiding a secret twin – suggesting the twin’s the one who copped it, to which they posted: “Will didn’t die and it’s his secret twin instead.” Tagging onto the speculation, an additional fan added: “This would be a good twist tbf!”
