Here’s everything you need to know about Will’s death in Emmerdale…
Will dies in Emmerdale
On Christmas Day, Will suffered a fatal heart attack in surprise Emmerdale scenes. He had been rowing with estranged wife Kim after his plan to destroy her came to light.
Kim had confronted her husband over the plot, leading to Will begging her for forgiveness. Kim then went on to leave but Will collapsed, clutching his chest in the process.
After Kim realised Will wasn’t in a good way, she and Joe rang for an ambulance. While they waited, Kim performed CPR on her husband as he began to lose consciousness.
Unfortunately Will couldn’t be saved and paramedics pronounced him dead when they arrived.
Emmerdale fans think Will isn’t dead
Despite Will being declared dead by medics, many Emmerdale fans were unconvinced he had actually passed away. Taking to social media, soap viewers shared their thoughts on Will’s sudden death.
One person commented: “I could be reading to much into this but @deanoandrews hasn’t posted a farewell to the show like Daisy did,” while another said: “I still don’t think he is dead.”
Others shared their theories about how Will’s death could be a set-up. A fan said: “It’s a set up he’s not dead I think! Ambulance drivers were actors.” Elsewhere, somebody else said: “But were they ‘real’ ambulance people? I think the whole thing is a set-up and will is still alive.”
