EastEnders has hinted that the spark between Denise Fox and Ravi Gulati might still be there after a brief reunion.
Earlier this year, the public vote for the soap’s 40th anniversary celebrations saw Denise choosing to get back together with ex-partner Jack Branning.
In new scenes, however, it seems that Denise may be harbouring some doubts as to whether she chose the right partner when she bumped into Ravi.
Tonight’s episode centred on Alfie Moon and Kat Slater’s “hag” do at Harry’s Barn. With the whole of Walford in attendance, including a reluctant Elaine and a resentful Jean, it was a matter of time before Ravi spotted Denise.
As he was chatting with Priya, Ravi excused himself and went over to Denise, who made fun of him for not making an effort and adhere to the Kat and Alfie dress code.

The tension between the two ex lovers was palpable as Ravi smiled and told her: “It’s good to see you, Denise.”
“Yeah, it’s good to see you too,” she replied, hurrying back to Kim, who had organised the party.
Seeing her sister mulling over her exchange with Ravi, Kim told her she’d “made the right choice”.
“Yeah, I know I did,” Denise replied, but Kim made it clear she didn’t sound particularly convincing.
Ravi then returned to Priya, who was less than impressed with his behaviour.
“Just saying hello,” he told her.
Last month, Denise star Diane Parish said that the love triangle resolution wasn’t “a full-stop chapter”.

“It’s never a full-stop chapter,” she said. “It was a nice thing to involve the audience and give them the opportunity to take part in something as exciting as an interactive vote – but the bosses are back in charge now!”
Could this mean that Denise and Ravi aren’t over just yet? And what will Priya and Jack have to say about that?
