As the firefighters and paramedics of Firehouse 51 say goodbye to a longtime colleague,
the actor who plays him says he will still call Chicago home. Jesse Spencer, known to “Chicago Fire”
viewers as Captain Matthew Casey, left the series in its 200th episode on Tuesday. He is one
of six actors – along with Taylor Kinney, David Eigenberg, Eamonn Walker, Christian Stolte and Joe Minoso – who were on the show throughout its 10 seasons. “It was a difficult decision because I loved the show from the beginning,” the Australian-born actor said at a press conference reported by TV Line, “but there are other things I want to do in the future, And there are some families I need to take care of.” The story is about Casey moving to Oregon to take care of his late best friend Andy Darden’s two sons – and could return to Chicago at any time. That’s not an appealing prospect for Spencer. “There’s a chance I’ll come back,” he said.
“I’m still in Chicago right now. I’m not running to Los Angeles or anywhere, although I could escape for a little while in the winter. My home is here with my wife in Chicago, and so I will still be here.” ‘Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F’ brings an energetic Eddie Murphy into a sequel that lacks the original’s character ‘MaXXXine’ brings the bloody fun of ‘X,’ ‘Pearl’ into the sleazy world of ’80s erotic thrillers New ‘Bluey’ mini-episodes are on the way – here’s when and how to watch El cine ShowPlace Icon de Chicago cierra sus puertas and su futuro es incierto The forgettable ‘Despicable Me 4’ intertwines many stories about the former villain’s family and the Minions army College graduates are attracted to a man, a woman and their play in the heartwarming ‘Chestnut’
