Alexandra Breckenridge and Zibby Allen announce big news to fans

Fans of Virgin River, to be found on Netflix, learned some good news on Monday April 22

through a publication posted on the Instagram accounts of two of the actresses of the series,

Alexandra Breckenridge (Mel) and Zibby Allen (Brie) .

In just a few years, Alexandra Breckenridge has become one of the best-known actresses on the small screen. Between her roles in the hit series Virgin River, which can be found on the Netflix streaming platform, or in This is Us, which fascinated millions of viewers around the world for six seasons, the 41-year-old actress has a special place in the hearts of lovers of romantic series. Older people will remember his appearances in cult series like Charmed, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and Dawson. Like her character Mel in Virgin River, the actress chose to leave Los Angeles to live in Georgia with her husband Casey Hopper and their two children Jack and Billie. But the one who imagines the marriage of Mel and Jack in the series as her own will probably have to come back a little more often to Los Angeles for her new project which promises to be exciting: starting this summer, she will host a podcast with her partner Zibby Allen , who plays Brie Sheridan on Virgin River. The two friends revealed a photo of their project on Instagram on Monday April 22. In the caption, they wrote: “Coming this summer…” and hashtagged the title of the podcast: “I like you very much.”

Virgin River fans rejoice in podcast from Alexandra Breckenridge and Zibby Allen

Fans of the series, who were fascinated by the actress’s recent change of look, stormed the comments section, visibly delighted with the news: “I’m so happy for you girls! And I can’t wait let it come out”, “This is literally the best news ever! I’m so happy for you girls!”, “This is literally the best news ever!!! So excited for you girls! “, “Oh this should be so fun! I can’t wait!”, we can read in particular. Or even “I’m looking forward to this podcast. I really need to laugh with this cold weather here in Belgium. You both bring the sun with you”, wrote some fans of the Netflix romantic series.

When will Virgin River season 6 be on Netflix?

If Virgin River fans are impatiently awaiting season 6 of their favorite series, they will have to be patient for a while longer. If this new season was indeed confirmed by Netflix in May 2023, its release date has not been announced and it may well not be before 2025. The reason? Virgin River does not appear among the American giant’s announced programs this year and season 6 is still being filmed. The podcast by Alexandra Breckenridge and Zibby Allen should therefore give fans of the series something to wait for.
