mmerdale newcomer John Sugden has not made many (ahem, any) friends
since arriving in town, but he’s certainly made enemies – including Aaron Dingle and Mack Boyd.
Last night Aaron and Mack decided to take their revenge on John who’s been
particularly unpleasant to them since sleeping with Aaron and driving off with his stuff. So they stole his van, left the handbrake off and let it roll into a lake.
They found their prank hilarious and fans did too. In fact they are loving Aaron and Mack scenes and want more of them.
Aaron and Mack team up in Emmerdale
John has made it perfectly clear he wants to leave Emmerdale as soon as he can – as soon as his van’s fixed, that is. Last week he had several threatening incidents with Aaron where John got the upper hand and punched him.
So Aaron and Mack decided to teach John a lesson. John soon found his van missing and immediately knew who had taken it. Of course, he was right when he confronted Aaron and Mack and they took him to where they had left it.
Unfortunately, Mack had left the handbrake off accidentally and it had rolled into the lake. The boys found this hilarious and taunted John, who was even angrier and even more miserable and tried to get violent again.
Aaron was still laughing about it later when John cornered him in the pub. As John got Aaron all hot under the collar, he moved in for a kiss, only for John to pull away and laugh at him.
Looks like this feud has a long way to go yet.
Fans love Aaron and Mack
However aside from John Sugden, viewers are here for this Aaron and Mack pairing. When Mack first arrived it was clear the men had chemistry, but show bosses decided to take Mack in the direction of Charity instead. Aaron then left.
But now they’re back as partners in crime and their bromance is just what we need.
“We need more of the bromance and the banter from these two!!! Too much doom and gloom this is a welcome addition,” shared one fan on social media.
Another added: “Absolutely love Aaron and Mackenzie’s friendship.”
“At last a pairing that we are going to absolutely love. The devilment between these two is fab,” enthused a third.
A fourth said: “They are such a good shout. Funny, good actors, great chemistry. More buddies scenes needed.”
“Those two are hilarious. Mack and Aaron are great, the new Paddy and Marlon,” agreed a fifth.
The new Paddy and Marlon? Would we go that far? Well, we certainly hope these scenes keep coming as the light relief is a welcome change from all the plotting and murders and illnesses in Emmerdale.
