Emmerdale viewers believe they’ve “uncovered” a shock lake twist as Nate Robinson’s body is finally found.

Soap viewers will know that villain John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) was responsible for Nate’s (Jurell Carter) death after the barn fire last year.

In a flashback clip, John was seen administering an unknown substance with the intention of “saving” Nate. However, Nate had an adverse reaction to the medication and tragically died from his injuries.

After finding Nate’s lifeless body, John drove him to the bridge and pushed the concealed corpse into the lake where the limo crash notably took place.

After months of unanswered questions, Nate’s body will finally be found next week.

In a sneak peek at next week’s episodes, the police visit Nate’s estranged wife Tracy Robinson (Amy Walsh) with the shattering news.

At the farm, Cain (Jeff Hordley) and Moira Dingle (Natalie J Robb) are blindsided when DC Cole reveals the news, telling Cain that Nate’s body is too decomposed for him to see his son.

Tracy recounts Nate’s last days in the village, and Cain is soon in the frame due to his attack on Nate the same day.

Cain is at boiling point while under questioning, before Chas Dingle (Lucy Pargeter) begins to worry her brother could be guilty.

Cain later offers support to Tracy, but he’s strangely remorseful that his daughter-in-law soon grows suspicious. As confusion grows, DC Cole returns with a huge update on Nate’s case. What will the police find?

Ahead of the big lake discovery, several Emmerdale fans are convinced that Nate won’t be the only body found in the water.

Soap fans have recently been concerned for Lydia Dingle (Karen Blick), who has been absent from the Dales over the last few weeks.

Kim Tate (Claire King) notably threw a 50th birthday party for Lydia earlier this month, which ended with Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) being pushed out of an upstairs window.

Amidst all the chaos, Lydia didn’t end up arriving at her party, with her husband Sam Dingle (James Hooton) revealing that her car had broken down.

Now, Emmerdale fans are convinced that Lydia could be the next body to the discovered in the lake, with many taking to social media to share their theories.

“Where’s Lydia? I miss her dancing round Home Farm, cleaning with headphones on. Come back soon,” one person wrote on a Facebook fan page.

“I think she’ll be found in the lake with Nate,” another added, while a third said: “John has killed her!!”

“She won’t be back for the foreseeable future,” a fourth viewer shared, with another similarly commenting: “Has John killed Lydia and shoved her in the lake too?”
