EastEnders fans have ‘worked out’ who they think will die as the soap released a trailer for a horror car crash set to air in the coming weeks.
It’s been a period of departures for the BBC soap, with Stacey Slater actress Lacey Turner announcing her plans to take a break this week.
Additionally, viewers recently said goodbye to Natalie Cassidy and Patsy Palmer as Sonia Fowler and Bianca Jackson said goodbye to Albert Square last month.
Despite James Bye’s Martin Fowler being killed off in February and Felix Baker actor Matthew James Morrison also leaving, the show looks set to air another departure.
On the programme’s social media accounts on Thursday night (May 15), a trailer was released seemingly spelling doom for at least one character.
The tense teaser shows a silver car flying down the road at night, with it unclear who is behind the wheel or if there’s anyone else in it.

In what looks set to be a brutal twist, the driver appears to lose control of their vehicle and it flies off a bridge and into a lake.

With the vehicle landing on its back and slowly sinking into the water, the trailer concludes with the show’s logo on a gloomy black background,
The ominous caption simply reads: “Who’s in danger? #EastEnders – Coming soon…”
Over on the EastEnders Reddit page, fans have begun predicting who they think is involved in the crash, with many assuming that someone will meet their end.
The majority of fans believe that it could spell the end to either Teddy or Nicola Mitchell, who are trying to cover up the death of their son Harry’s girlfriend Shireen Bashar.
With Nicola also trying to stop her husband from finding out their son Barney Mitchell’s biological father is Zack Hudson, the popular villain’s reign of terror may be coming to an end.

The only real detail I noticed is that the other car tailing behind is much more obvious when you slow it down. This leads to me to believe that it’s almost certainly a car chase, and with that I believe that it’s between Zack and Teddy.”
