EastEnders viewers were taken aback after recognising the sibling of a Walford legend in a recent scene on the BBC soap. In the latest episodes, Harry Mitchell (portrayed by Elijah Holloway) has been mentoring Kojo Asare (Dayo Koleosho), even offering him a job as a mechanic at The Arches.
The pair also had a night out at Harry’s Barn, where Harry, known for his charm with women, tried to teach Kojo his ways.
As they prepared to celebrate Nicola Mitchell’s (Laura Doddington) birthday, they noticed a group of women at the bar. Harry, appearing confident, was approached by the attractive group.
However, things quickly turned awkward when it emerged that Harry had previously ghosted one of the women after a one-night stand, resulting in a drink being thrown over him.
Despite this blunder, EastEnders fans spotted something else entirely within the group. One of the women was reportedly Lacey Turner’s sister, reports Plymouth Live.
Lacey, 37, has been a fixture on the show since 2004, playing the role of Stacey Slater.
Her younger sister, Lily Ruby Turner, also known as Lily Harvey, is an actress like her sister and former Hollyoaks star Daisy Turner.
The 22-year-old, who also sings according to her YouTube profile, was born on 18th November 2001 and is a London native.
EastEnders viewers will remember Lily from her stint as Shenice Quinn between 2011 and 2012.
The young actress caught the eye of EastEnders producer Bryan Kirkwood back in 2010, who saw her as a “very talented young girl”.
Eagle-eyed fans were quick to spot her familiar face on the soap, with The Sun reporting viewers’ reactions.
One admirer commented: “She was in it years ago as a little girl Kat and Alfie cared for.”
Another chimed in with recognition: “I KNEW SHE LOOKED FAMILIAR.”
Curiosity arose from another fan: “She played Shenice didn’t she?”
The uncanny similarity to her super famous sister also had fans talking.
An excited viewer remarked: “She looks like 2010 Stacey omg”, while another added: “Omg she’s Lacey reincarnated.”
