EastEnders has finally exposed Nicola Mitchell’s deadly crime to ex-husband Teddy – and the news hasn’t gone down well.

Viewers know that Nicola killed her son Harry’s ex-girlfriend Shireen several years ago, so she was horrified when Teddy revealed he was about to begin a construction project on the site where she is buried.

Things got worse when Nicola found out that her accomplice Benji had planted evidence on Shireen that would lead to police to her. She then reached out to Ravi for help, but he immediately refused.

The Mitchells came together to celebrate Nicola’s birthday in today’s episode, but she was distracted, with work on Paradise Park set to begin the next day.

Rapidly running out of options, Nicola urged Ravi to reconsider her mysterious job and offered him £10,000 to move something from a construction site tonight.

Ravi was reluctant to get involved in something shady, but he seemed to have been persuaded, as he was keen to take his daughter Avani on holiday.

Nicola continued to put her plan into action by asking Harry to borrow his van, while he remained unaware of what his mum had done to his girlfriend.

Meanwhile, Ravi realised just how much Avani was struggling, and that rather than going on an expensive holiday, she just wanted to spend time with her dad.

He called round to see Nicola and told her that he wasn’t interested in her job offer, as he couldn’t risk being behind bars and away from his kids.

Nicola threatened to go to the police about Ravi’s drug dealing, which changed his mind. But he wanted to know what he was moving, and Nicola revealed it was a body.

At that point, Teddy walked in, demanding to know what was going on. Ravi spilled the beans and told him all about Nicola’s shocking plan, then left them alone.

Teddy raged at this horrific revelation and as a huge row broke out, Nicola revealed that she killed the mystery person four years ago. Teddy quickly connected the dots and realised that the body is Shireen.
