EastEnders fans work out FOURTEEN people are currently living in Sonia’s house – and the incredible cost of loo roll

GOBSMACKED EastEnders fans have worked out that there are a whopping FOURTEEN people living inside Sonia Fowler’s home.

Gracious Sonia, played by actress Natalie Cassidy, allowed the Carter and Knight family to move in following the pub being destroyed in the 40th anniversary special.

Despite having given birth to baby Julia in the rubble and dealing with the fallout of Reiss Colwell’s actions and his subsequent death, Sonia decided to welcome in countless newbies to the home as a gesture of good will.

25 Albert Square currently appears to be inhabited by a total of 14 residents despite many only having THREE bedrooms in the two-storey home.

It is thought the house features a downstairs bedroom as well as two on the top floor along with a family bathroom.

At present, TWELVE people, a parrot and a dog are living at the property that was previously occupied by just Sonia and her evil ex, Reiss.

It is thought Sonia is currently residing there with her two daughter, Bex and Julia, as well as her sister, Bianca Jackson.

Homeless Linda Carter is also at the house with three of her five kids – Ollie, Annie and Johnny.

Linda’s mother, Elaine Peacock, is also at the house with her husband George Knight.

George’s daughter Anna and his brother Kojo Asare are also under the roof.

Their pet dog Tyson as well as Jasper Parrott are also currently inhabiting the house.

One fan questioned the bizarre decision, as they said: “How is this explained in the canon when it looks like a 2-up-2-down, not even a third story?”

Another fan even calculated how the household is collectively spending £52 on loo roll a month.

Explaining their calculations, the fan quoted a statistic which read: “The average UK resident uses approximately 127 rolls of toilet paper per year, translating to about 2.5 rolls per week.”

They then calculated how one person would therefore use 10 loo rolls a month.

Calculating this by 14 to arrive at 140 rolls for the entire household, they said: “24-pack of cushelle toilet rolls is £8.98 in Asda, so that works out at about £52 a month on toilet roll.

“But then again, everyone seems to shop at the mini-mart so they’re probably buying a pack of 4 rolls per day so probably spending a fair bit more than that unless Elaine is doing the Asda run with all the spare time she’s got on her hands now.”

It led to another EastEnders viewer to point out: “Yet no sign of anyone of them dossing on the sofa? No duvet/pillows/blankets strewn around nor any clothes causing clutter in such a rammed place?

“No scramble at mealtimes or queues for the shower in the morning or waiting for the toilet.

“Imagine 5mins in the WC twice a day for everyone to use all that toilet roll – that’s nearly 3 soild hours that its occupied so people might be waiting.”
