In Emmerdale spoilers for next week, Billy Fletcher correctly guesses that Dawn has been having an affair. But he is left feeling embarrassed after accusing the wrong guy.
Fortunately Ross is understanding and he encourages Billy to focus on his relationship with the kids. Will Billy take the advice or will he keep digging for the truth?

Billy picks the wrong guy in Emmerdale spoilers
After Mack alludes to the idea that Dawn could be having an affair with Ross Barton, Billy is left with food for thought.
He picks up Dawn’ phone and is hurt to realise she has changed the code, which only furthers his suspicions. Billy is even more gutted when Joe doesn’t put his mind at rest, so he confronts Ross.
A tussle breaks out between the two men. They don’t see Dawn enter and Billy is soon mortified to realise he has accidentally aired his theory about Dawn cheating with Ross in front of Clemmie.
Billy tries to comfort Clemmie, but she wants nothing to do with him. Reeling from his mistake, Billy is saddened to realise his suspicions were misplaced.

Joe comforts Billy
Devastated to have gotten it wrong, Billy is later comforted by the real guilty party – Joe.
When a broken Billy embraces him, Joe is riddled with guilt, but he later reassures Dawn that it’s for the best to keep Billy in the dark.
Billy apologises to Ross for his outburst. Ross tries to encourage Billy not to let the issues with Dawn get in the way of the relationship between him and his kids.
Billy takes Ross’s words on board and he arrives at Home Farm with some flowers for Dawn. He also apologises to Dawn for accusing her of having an affair.

Dawn and Billy tell the kids their news
Trying to keep things amicable, Dawn and Billy decide to try and explain their separation to the kids.
When the kids arrives home, Clemmie’s still wary of Billy, while Lucas asks if Billy will be staying over.
With a heavy heart, Billy and Dawn tell the children about their divorce. Billy is soon choked to face the reality that he’ll be away from his children.
But as he leaves Home Farm for good, a sympathetic Kim tells him he can have the holiday cottage until he finds his own place.
