Caleb and Joe’s feud stepped up a gear in Emmerdale on Friday as Caleb decided the best way to get his own back for his stolen kidney was to kill the man who nicked it.
Elsewhere, John and Aaron threw themselves into wedding planning, and Dawn and Billy made plans for their future apart.
Here’s everything that happened in Emmerdale.

John was nominated for Yorkshire Hero 2025
John acted humble when he received a letter nominating him for Yorkshire Hero 2025 thanks to all the lives he’d saved.
Obviously sister Victoria thought it was marvellous, and it was left to Mack to bring the paramedic straight down to earth. He pointed out that John’s rival for the title was a boy with one leg who’d raised enough money to buy a CT scanner.
And when the group wondered who’d have nominated John for the award, Mack was quick to share his view that it wouldn’t have been Kerry. Uh-oh, if only he knew how dangerous John could be, eh?!
By the end of the episode, though, we knew who had nominated John for the award. It was John himself!
Using a burner phone and a fake name, he took a call from the organisers. Turned out, he wanted to make sure they knew he’d also saved Jacob Gallagher’s life (obviously leaving out the bit where he was the one who put Jacob’s life in danger in the first place).
We’re worried what will happen if John doesn’t get this prize – that kid with one leg needs to watch his back.

Caleb told Ruby
Meanwhile Caleb filled Ruby in on everything he’d found out about his kidney theft. Ruby grasped the whole crazy revelation very quickly and immediately said they should go to the police.
But when Caleb said Joe had worked out what happened to Anthony – sort of – she realised they were better off staying quiet.

Caleb begged Cain to help him kill Joe and Joe stopped him
But Caleb was out for revenge! He begged Cain to help him finish Joe off but
Cain wasn’t having it. So Caleb took on the burden himself. He asked Joe to meet him at the depot and turned up late. Then he revved his car and drove straight at Mr Tate, intending to take him out.
But Cain was too quick – he’d turned up too and he threw himself at Joe, getting him out of the way.
Caleb was furious with his brother, but Cain pointed out if he killed Joe, he’d go to prison and then what would happen to Ruby and Steph?

Kammy and Sarah were sneaking around in Emmerdale
Sarah sneaked Kammy out of the house in the morning before anyone saw him. But she had forgotten that her gran is Charity Dingle and nothing gets past her! Charity rumbled the young couple and she wasn’t impressed.
She told Mack and Chas her woes about Sarah’s new relationship and both of them told her to leave her and Kammy alone. Obviously Charity took their advice on board and decided to let Sarah live her life. Ha ha. Of course she didn’t!
Jacob got on his bike in Emmerdale
Meanwhile, Jacob was preparing for his dirt bike race with Kammy. He’s being trained by Sam who has been bribed with free beer by Charity. The stakes are high. Charity went to see how they were getting on and Sam told her Jacob’s a natural.

The wedding planning was in full swing in Emmerdale
With best man Mack and best woman Victoria taking charge of the wedding planning for Aaron and John, things are beginning to take shape.
Chas tried to convince the pair that she would be welcome on the stag night, only to then admit she was joking when she saw John’s horrified face! But the issue of John’s lack of friends came up with Mack pointing out it was a little odd.

Dawn and Billy planned how to tell the kids about their separation
Bewildered Billy caught up with Dawn for a chat about how things would work with the kids now their relationship is over.
She told him he’d always be in the children’s lives, and pointed out they needed to be especially careful with Clemmie, who had a tricky time before she came to be part of their family. Billy told her he’d move out and find somewhere else to live.

Joe turned up at the depot in Emmerdale
At the very end of the episode, Joe turned up at the depot and appeared out of the shadows to surprise Ruby and Caleb. He told his uncle that they were too similar, but Caleb wasn’t having it.
Mr Miligan pointed out that the difference between them was that he had something Joe didn’t have – a family. He said everything he does is for Ruby and Steph, while everything Joe does is for himself.
But Joe wasn’t budging. “We have started something,” he said. “And we do have to finish it…”
