‘Fire Country’ Hints That [Spoiler]’s Life Is Risk After Stalker Twist — And Teases Possible Cast Exit

Fire Country just revealed that a main character’s life is at risk following that shocking stalker twist.

During the Friday, April 18, episode of Fire Country, Gabriela (Stephanie Arcila) attempted to move on after a brief romance with Finn (Blake Lee) made her uncomfortable thanks to some concerning and persistent text messages. The former couple reunited, however, when a fire broke out at Finn’s house and he was found injured.

Finn apologized to Gabriela for his strange behavior on their way to the hospital. Jake (Jordan Calloway) and Audrey (Leven Rambin), meanwhile, stayed behind to deal with the source of the fire. This took them into the basement where they found countless photos of Gabriela — proving that Finn has been stalking her.

Fans of Freeform’s short-lived series Cruel Summer probably felt the similarities considering Lee played a creepy kidnapper on the first season of that show. But back on Fire Country, Vince (Billy Burke) was made aware that Finn was a danger to Gabriela, which meant he was able to stop the ambulance before things escalated.

Finn was able to escape — with a weapon! — which concerned Gabriela’s loved ones. In the final scene, Manny (Kevin Alejandro) asked Gabriela where her gun was after she told him he couldn’t keep her safe all the time.

Elsewhere in the episode, Jake contemplated a change after feeling like there was no room for him to grow. Vince’s support after Jake got a new job made Jake feel even worse. Then there was the Oxalta drama, which seemed to finally come to an end after Bode (Max Thieriot) and his family were nearly threatened into staying quiet.

The actress told Us she was expecting frustration from viewers. “A lot of people are angry, and a lot of people are like, ‘Wait, what’s going on? What are you going to do? What is this?’” she noted. “But at the end of the day, we’re just all perfectly flawed humans.”

At the time, Arcila said she was looking forward to more growth for Gabriela, adding, “There’s going to be lots of changes. This is a season that definitely shows her imperfections, which I’m so excited for because we’re all human. We’re not perfect. We make mistakes, and we all deserve forgiveness and redemption. So, this is a story about redemption.”
