In Classic Emmerdale spoilers airing on ITV3 on Thursday April 17, Diane finally admits the reason for her odd behaviour, Jamie’s plan to find out the truth is foiled by Tom and Rosemary, and Marlon and Donna get some shocking news.

Jamie sets off on his quest – but Tom and Rosemary are too quick!
Chas gets ready to see Jamie off but they’re disappointed to discover that Tom and Rosemary have got to the foreman first. He’s no longer in St Tropez and Chas doesn’t know where he’s gone.
Tom’s fuming about Chas being involved in Jamie’s plan and he tells her Carl will never forgive her betraying the King family. He suggests she ends her engagement, packs her bag and gets out.
Ouch!
And there’s more to come. As Tom makes a snide comment, Chas launches herself at him. She’s stopped by Rosemary, but manages to turn to the tables on the future Mrs King instead.
Matthew is suspicious of Kelly in Classic Emmerdale
Elsewhere, Matthew is suspicious about Kelly’s motives for getting back with Jimmy and he warns her that he can’t access any of the company money.

Meanwhile, a Sugden family bike ride ends in an accident and at the end of his tether, Jack snaps and demands to know why Diane’s acting the way she is.
Diane admits that after her cancer battle, Bernice’s car accident and the house collapse, she’s determined to live life to the full!
Classic Emmerdale: Arson attack!
As fire destroys the Kings’ billboard, tongues are wagging in the village about who was responsible.
Tom and Rosemary are quick to point the finger at Chas, who denies any knowledge of the arson attack. But she does warn them that this was nothing more than they deserved.
Jimmy also thinks it was Chas. When he confronts her, though, they end up sharing their grievances about Tom! Chas warns Jimmy that Tom needs to watch himself from now on.
Shock for Marlon and Donna in Classic Emmerdale
Elsewhere, Marlon and Donna are worried about money. The quote for them building their own house comes in way over their budget. The Dingles offer to help, but the young couple refuse, wanting to keep everything above board.
So when the police turn up, Marlon and Donna are shocked. B=ut it’s nothing to do with their housing situation. Instead, the cops share the news that Lilith’s children have gone missing. Where have they gone?
Meanwhile, Zak tries home-schooling Belle but it quickly becomes clear that she knows more than he does about maths and spelling.a
