16 Emmerdale spoilers for next week – Aidan Moore is alive as John’s secrets are exposed, Liam is attacked and Kim saves Joe

Emmerdale spoilers for next week reveal another of John’s secrets: Aidan Moore is still alive. How will he explain this one to Victoria?

Meanwhile, someone attacks Liam, and Kim is forced to resolve the war between Joe and Caleb. But as she picks her side, it’s clear she has an ulterior motive.

1. Victoria delves into John’s past

Wanting to get some of his army mates to the wedding, Victoria sticks her nose into John’s past life and meets his mate Connor. They talk about John and Victoria is stunned when Connor opens up about what happened in Afghanistan, revealing a shocking truth: Aidan Moore is still alive and in a hospital in Leeds.

2. Victoria confronts John over his lies

After visiting the hospital and seeing Aidan for herself, shaken Vic goes back to see John. She reveals she knows the truth about Aidan. John is agitated and soon in flight mode as Victoria has a go at him for lying. But what else will she uncover?

3. Caleb and Joe at war

Revelations last week now see Caleb and Joe battling it out to see who can win. When the police visit the Miligans, Caleb and Ruby are relieved to discover it’s just about a break-in at the depot rather than missing Anthony. But then Joe arrives to gloat and things get physical. Cain breaks the fight up, but knows he needs to act fast to sort this out.

4. Cain and Kim team up

Cain visits Kim who tells her they need to work together to stop the escalating drama between Caleb and Joe. Kim gives Joe some home truths about keeping himself and Caleb out of prison. She then summons Caleb and Ruby to Home Farm, where they find her, Joe and Cain waiting for them.

5. Kim makes an offer to save Joe

Despite the bickering, Kim makes a offer to call a truce: she will give Caleb the land surrounding the depot that he initially wanted, if they both let this war go. Caleb is thoughtful, but Kim makes it clear this is her final offer.

6. Queen Kim and Prince Joe take on the Dales

With the deal done, Kim is angry with Joe. He gives her his word he won’t deceive her again. Kim vows that together they will keep their enemies close and build an unstoppable empire. Queen Kim is back!

7. Billy’s suspicious

Sure Dawn must be seeing someone else, Mack puts it into Billy’s head that it’s Ross. Billy goes to check Dawn’s phone, but she’s changed the code. This makes him even more suspicious.

8. Ross accused

Joe stokes the fires and makes Billy sure Dawn’s other man is Ross. He confronts Ross and the men start fighting. Dawn enters and Billy accidentally blurts out his affair suspicions in front of Clemmie.

9. Joe comforts Billy

Billy is devasated when Clemmie won’t talk to him. He knows he got it very wrong and turns to Joe for comfort. As the Billy hugs him, Joe feels awful knowing he’s the one who caused this pain.

10. Billy leaves in Emmerdale spoilers

Billy leaves Home Farm and Joe reassures Dawn it’s for the best. But the next day Ross encourages Billy to make sure his issues with Dawn don’t get between him and the kids. Billy brings flowers for Dawn and tells her he’s sorry. They dread the next move which is telling Clemmie and Lucas they have split.

11. Kim supports Billy

Devastated Billy works with Dawn to explain their divorce plans to the kids. Billy can’t face the fact he has to move away from his children. Kim steps in and tells him he can stay in the holiday cottage as long as he needs to until he finds his own place.

12. Who hurt Liam?

Mackenzie is shocked to find Liam in the street knocked out. Chas and Aaron rush out after hearing he has been attacked, but who did it?

13. Sarah goes mad about the race

Sarah tells Kammy in no uncertain terms if his race against Jacob goes ahead they are over. Kammy angrily confronts Jacob over telling Sarah what they were planning and the both agree now it’s personal and the race will go ahead.

14. Kammy comes out on top

The race begins with Cain supporting Kammy and Charity behind Jacob. Kammy takes the lead, but is forced to slow down allowing Jacob to get past him. However at the devil’s leap, Jacob hesitates and Kammy takes over, landing the jump. Jacob doesn’t have enough speed and crashes.

15. Sarah fumes

As Kammy celebrates winning the race, Jacob is full of resentment. Sarah arrives and she is really not happy. Kammy is excited, but when he clocks her face he realises he may have lost after all. Will Sarah forgive him?

16. Vinny lashes out
