EastEnders spoilers follow for Monday’s episode (April 14), which is available to watch now on streaming service BBC iPlayer and hasn’t yet aired on TV.
EastEnders has confirmed the identity of Sonia Fowler’s mystery visitor, and it’s a huge blast from her past.
Sonia was left reeling when she recently discovered that her sister Bianca had gone behind her back and appeared as a guest on a true crime podcast to speak about Reiss.
She was devastated that Bianca had betrayed her and kept the podcast a secret and disowned her sister for good.
Sonia was harassed by Mo and Kim’s insensitive tour for true crime fans in today’s episode, and she worried about the impact on baby Julia in future.

Meanwhile, Bianca was out of options after overstaying her welcome with Kat and Alfie, so Kat encouraged her to apologise and make amends with her sister.
Bianca took her friend’s advice and called round to try and help the situation, but Sonia was still feeling the effects of the podcasts so continued to shut her out.
However, Bex soon changed her mind, reminding her mum that a permanent fallout with Bianca would be a win for Reiss. Sonia then came to her sister’s rescue when Mo and Kim’s tour brought on a panic attack for Bianca.

Sonia felt ready to reconcile, so apologised to Bianca for the hurtful things she said, and asked her to move back in.
The pair then went to Harry’s Barn for a drink as they began to look to the future. But Bianca spotted a man from the tour hanging around nearby, so followed him outside.
She confronted him, and it soon became clear that the man is her mum Carol’s ex-boyfriend – and Sonia’s biological father – Terry Cant.

He explained that he had decided to reach out after hearing the podcast and make up for lost years, but Bianca urged him to stay away, having heard about his past behaviour from her mum.
But Terry didn’t listen, as he later appeared at Sonia’s door and introduced himself to his shocked daughter.
