In next week’s Emmerdale spoilers, Joe Tate’s web of deceit is unraveling after Caleb makes a shock discovery about his nephew. Convinced there’s foul play at hand, Caleb decides to investigate his suspicions. What will he find?

Joe has his eye on Caleb in Emmerdale spoilers

Joe seems to have pulled off the unthinkable by stealing one of Caleb’s kidneys. The outrageous plot saw Caleb getting stabbed, after which he was transported to a private clinic where Dr Crowley performed the illegal transplant.

It seemed we’d seen the last of Joe when he fled to Dubai. But love has now brought him back to the village. As well as trying win Dawn back, Joe is playing another dangerous game by taking an interest in Caleb’s private life. He knows Caleb and Ruby are hiding a secret about Anthony’s disappearance and wants to know what!

The Miligans are worried about Joe’s sudden interest in their affairs, so Caleb decides he’ll play Joe at his own game.

Caleb makes a suspicious discovery

Needing to keep his enemy close, Caleb invites Joe over to his for lunch.

After the meal, Joe heads home but then panics when he realises he’s left his coat behind at Caleb’s – and his pills are inside one of the pockets. Caleb is already on a mission to find out who targeted him and Joe knows if he finds the meds it’s game over.

He hot foots it back to Mill Cottage where Steph hands him his coat. As she does so the pills fall out and Caleb clocks Joe quickly stuffing them back into his pocket.

Caleb is immediately suspicious and wants to know if this has anything to do with Joe poking his nose about in their business.

Emmerdale spoilers: Noah drops Joe in it with Caleb

Needing to understand what’s going on with Joe, Caleb starts to think of who he can tap up for information. And that afternoon at the Depot an idea comes to him.

Caleb deliberately destroys a light in his office as a clever ploy to get Joe’s brother Noah on his own. The young electrician pops over to help not realising he’s been lured there under false pretenses.

Whilst Noah gets to work, Caleb takes the chance to subtly question him about Joe. But nothing prepares him for the bombshell Noah’s about to drop. Charity’s son tells Caleb he has a memory of being in hospital after he was spiked – and Joe was there too!

Suddenly the cogs in Caleb’s mind begin to whirr. As far as he’s concerned this is no coincidence and he decides to carry on digging. Is Caleb going to rumble Joe?
