Leslie de Jesus Alejandro is a woman of many talents, including directing, filmmaking and photography. She’s Filipino American, and based out of Los Angeles, California.
Leslie “found her passion for photography” while working as the executive director and art director at the digital magazine Bello Mag, her professional website notes. Her work has been featured in “Vogue, Vanity Fair, Variety, Men’s Health, GQ, Women’s Health” and more publications, according to the page.
Leslie Alejandro and Kevin Alejandro Have Their Own Production Company
The couple founded Alejandro Films in 2019, where Leslie is a partner and producer. The company has produced movies, short films, commercials, music videos and documentaries. Kevin — who plays Manny Perez on Fire Country — directed several projects through the company’s banner, including a 2024 ad for Sister Betsy’s Surf Wax.
“Alejandro Films is first and foremost about family. Our family has always come first, and it’s what keeps us both grounded and motivated,” the company’s vision statement reads. Leslie Alejandro Directed a 2025 Episode of ‘Fire Country’
Leslie directed episode 14 of season 3, titled “Death Trap.” It was her first venture into directing episodic television.
“Getting the call that they gave me an episode was one of the best news I’ve ever had in my life. So I was just excited for the opportunity and of course nervous because this was my first time handling this big of a budget, but it was so much fun and I had the best time and I cannot wait to do it again,” Leslie told TV Insider on March 7, 2025, about the experience.
Kevin and Leslie Alejandro Got Married on Valentine’s Day
How romantic! The couple tied the knot on February 14, 2004. They celebrated their 20th wedding anniversary in 2024.
Leslie and Kevin welcomed their only child, son Kaden Michael Alejandro, on February 22, 2008.
Kevin shared a major milestone in their son’s life in November 2024, posting a photo of Kaden behind the wheel of a car. He wrote in the caption, “@lesliealejandro our beautiful boy @kadenalejandro is a driver now!!! We love you mijo!!”
