It’s time to bring a little bit of country to Edgewater, as Jelly Roll‘s episode of Fire Country is finally airing on CBS.
The hit firefighting drama has teased the country superstar’s guest star appearance ever since the news broke in February, and viewers have already learned the impact Jelly Roll will make on the show. Now, Good Housekeeping is here to show fans just how much Jelly Roll’s presence will be felt in this installment, as we have an exclusive clip of him having an emotional conversation with Billy Burke (who plays Vince Leone) ahead of the season 3 episode “Fire and Ice” airing Friday, April 11, 2025 at 9 p.m. ET on CBS.
In the upcoming installment, folks will get to see Vince struggle to connect to his father Walter (Jeff Fahey), who resides in an elder care facility to help him with his dementia diagnosis. Jelly Roll plays Walter’s caretaker Noah, who comes with a past involving stints in jail. But as Noah and Vince sit in a car to talk about Walter, Noah makes a confession about understanding Vince a bit more than the latter may expect.

“I get it, I really do. I lost my own mother to dementia,” Jelly Roll (as Noah) states in the clip. “I’m still ashamed to admit it, but I was kinda grateful she forgot who I was. The last time I got to see my momma was from behind prison glass. When she didn’t recognize me, I figured at least she didn’t have to deal with all the heartbreak of seeing her boy locked up. But I made a vow right then I was gonna be that good boy that she raised and remembered.”
