Sarah Sugden (Katie Hill) went in search of a distraction after being dumped by Jacob Gallagher (Joe-Warren Plant) a few week ago in Emmerdale.
Unfortunately though, things are now getting a little out of hand.
On Friday, Sarah and Kammy (Shebz Miah) were sacked from their jobs at the garage after clashing with a client.
To get revenge, Sarah decided to take some money from the lockbox in the office.
In tonight’s episode, she developed another plan that saw Kammy steal Cain’s car from outside the garage.
As he drove away, Kammy failed to spot Jacob watching the theft take place. Because he didn’t know Sarah was involved, and already has developed a dislike towards the new face, Jacob called the police and reported Kammy.
Outside the Haulage firm, Sarah and Kammy sat in the car eating chips and watching Rodney (Patrick Mower) sort out a van.
Sarah then got out of the car and slammed the doors behind Rodney, trapping him inside.
With no-one to catch her out, Sarah proceeded to steal goods and hide them in the boot.
It was at this moment Kammy showed that he actually has a backbone, as he told Sarah her behaviour isn’t acceptable. She sent her friend on his way, which meant she was caught by PC Swirling on her own later that day.
Sarah tried to worm her way out of the situation, but she wasn’t able to. Once Swirling returned to the village, he told Cain (Jeff Hordley) that his granddaughter needs a solicitor, because she’s been arrested.
