John is hiding something in Emmerdale spoilers
We’ve said it once, and we’ll say it again. There something is not right about John Sugden.
Alarm bells have been ringing ever since the Aidan Moore mystery. Then there’s his controlling behaviour with Aaron and his growing obsession with Chas. Let’s also not forget how John disposed of Anthony’s dead body with the skill and precision of a pro. And he’s still top of our suspect list for murdering Nate.
Only time will tell whether John is a serial killer, but at the moment he’s happy to act the hero. John is relishing his role working as a medic at the Brook Cottage surgery. But is his past about to catch up with him?

John messes up at work
Everything kicks off after poorly Kerry arrives at the surgery looking pale and clearly in discomfort. John examines her, but shockingly for a man who’s meant to have extensive medical knowledge, he misdiagnoses her symptoms.
Liam is not impressed when he discovers what John has done with Kerry. He fears his distracted mood is affecting his ability to stay focused on the job. John’s error also makes Dr Cavanagh question if this has happened before.
Desperate to maintain the reputation of his practice, Liam decides to find out whether any of John’s previous patients have been given incorrect information.

John is under investigation in Emmerdale spoilers
Panic sets in for John when Liam announces that he will be conducting a full review of all of his work. John is deeply unnerved by the news, and later he makes a shock confession to Victoria…
He admits to his sister that Kerry’s case isn’t the first time he’s made a mistake as a medic. John carries on confessing, and lets Vic in on details of his previous errors at work. Although shocked by what she’s heard, Victoria refuses to judge John for his past, and he’s thankful for that.
Victoria can see John is feeling down on himself, so to lift his mood she shares stories of her own professional blunders. There’s definitely one we remember very well – who could forget the time she almost killed Jacob after serving him a dish cooked in nut oil?
Will Vic’s words of support give John comfort? And can he convince Liam he’s still up to his job?
