EastEnders Spencer Moon actor Chris Parker’s life now after quitting acting

Spencer Moon hasn’t been seen in Albert Square for over two decades.

Christopher Parker starred as the lovable rogue in EastEnders from 2002 to 2005 before jetting off to Australia with his on-screen love Vicki Fowler, opening a bar down under.

Vicki (played by Alice Haig) is back in Walford this week with some jaw-dropping news regarding Spencer – but can we trust her word?

With Spencer’s brother Alfie Moon (Shane Richie) and Vicki’s half-sister Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) reeling from the revelation that the pair have called it quits, fans are eager for the drama as the real cause of their break up is set to unfurl in the coming episodes of the BBC drama.

Since waving goodbye to the soap, Chris turned his talents to presenting, making waves on CD:UK, MTV News, teaming up with Fearne Cotton on CBBC, charming listeners on Radio Disney, and bringing showbiz buzz to ITV’s This Morning, reports Belfast Live.

Not only did he present the American TV special ‘Bond is Back’ about the James Bond flick Casino Royale, but he also popped up on children’s favourite Hider in the House on CBBC, raced against the clock on ITV2’s Deadline and joined former EastEnders star Danny Dyer in Hotel Babylon on the BBC.

He didn’t stop there – Chris became the voice of weekend fun with his own show on Gala Bingo’s TV channel. The rumour mill once buzzed with talk of Spencer’s potential return to Walford in 2010.

However, an EastEnders spokesperson refuted these claims at the time by clarifying: “There are absolutely no plans to bring Chris Parker – or the character of Spencer Moon – back to EastEnders.”

Chris has hung up his acting hat and donned the robes of a solicitor after graduating with a law degree from Birkbeck University. Since 2022, he’s been lending his expertise as a Senior Consultant at Ignition Law.
