Emmerdale fans are convinced Mackenzie Boyd is in grave danger as the character’s flashforward scene is yet to air on the ITV soap.
Nearly three months ago, on New Year’s Eve, the long-running show aired several flashforwards, giving viewers a glimpse at what was to come in 2025. These included a scene of Caleb Miligan (William Ash) fighting for his life while flatlining in a hospital.
There was also an eerie clip of someone trapped under an icy lake which has been confirmed as Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson) following the tragic limo crash in February. But another flashforward clip included soap favourite Mack (Lawrence Robb) running in fear through a woodland.

Recent events across the village have revealed Nate Robinson (Jurell Carter) is dead in the frozen lake and is yet to be discovered. Although speculation is rife among fans, who think John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) killed him.
John has played an integral part in the Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day) murder plot after covering up the crime by hiding the disgraced pensioner’s body in the woods. Some fans believe John is the person who delivered a fatal blow to Anthony despite Ruby (Beth Cordingly) thinking she is the guilty party.
When John disposed of the corpse, he remained calm and collected while others were left wracked with fear and guilt.
Emmerdale viewers are now predicting John is a serial killer and he is chasing Mack through the woods in a potential death twist.
Taking to Reddit, one fan wrote: “I think I’m still banking on the Mackenzie one being him running away from John. I still think that John’s a dodgy bloke and behind Nate’s death and reckon Mack might find something/something out, which results in John chasing him down.”

A second chimed in: “I do think Mack is going to die at John’s hand (or whoever Nate’s killer is). I’m convinced the writers will use it to end Mack and push Charity and dreary Vanessa back together. Ugh.
“It also develops a serial killer storyline, as well as giving Moira more material. And it probably leads to Chloe’s return (UGH), which gives Kerry more material in the wake of Amy’s exit.”
