Ella is desperate to prove her innocence, amid accusations that she caused Chas to collapse by spiking her drink. Although there’s pressure for her to leave the village, she refuses to go and vows to focus on clearing her name instead.

Ella starts to spread the theory that Chas has an addiction to painkillers and used the mysterious collapse to frame her.

Liam starts to wonder whether Ella could be right about Chas, so he roots through her cupboard in the back room of The Woolpack. Chas is outraged to catch Liam in the act and she storms off to confront Ella when she finds out about the false allegations.

Later, Ella starts to overplay her hand as Liam grows irritated by her interference in his new relationship. As a result, Ella’s protestations of innocence start to go unheard.

Ella’s bad week gets worse when Manpreet, her last remaining ally, turns against her. Manpreet decides that she wants Ella to move out immediately.

Ella retaliates by letting everyone know about Manpreet’s racy online pictures and the recent blackmail scandal.

Sammy and Kammy continue to bond as they work together at the garage. Cain, who has given Kammy a trial, is initially wary of the newcomer but warms to him after seeing his impressive work.

Despite this, Charity continues to worry about Kammy’s influence on Sarah. Vinny is also concerned about Sarah concealing her health condition from her new love interest.

Jai notices that Steph is upset at work. Although he doesn’t know why Steph is struggling, he seizes the opportunity to start asking her questions about Anthony.

Jai notes that Steph reacts strangely to any mention of Anthony’s name. As he continues to push for information, Caleb intervenes with yet another cover story to explain Anthony’s disappearance. Will Jai be fooled?

Steph is honest with Ruby about how she’s feeling, explaining that all she can see in her reflection is Anthony. Ruby hopes she’s done enough to console Steph, but this seems not to be the case as Steph searches online for plastic surgery options.

Later in the week, Ruby and Steph are left alone for a family day out when Caleb is a no-show. There’s a positive outcome when they bond for the first time in their lives.

Jai switches his approach towards the Anthony mystery by asking Laurel about the strange situation.

Viewers will remember that Laurel attacked Anthony on the day he died, which earned her a caution from the police. Will she help Jai to put the puzzle pieces together?

A letter arrives that Dylan has sent to April from rehab.

Marlon decides to hide the note, much to the disapproval of Paddy. As Paddy urges Marlon to be honest with his daughter, will he listen?

The teens have a small party at Mulberry Cottage, but April’s unique experiences set her apart from her friends.

As the afternoon takes a difficult turn, Marlon and Rhona worry about how they’re going to handle April in the future.

Claudette and Charles meet at the café to discuss the church’s plans for Easter.
