John found himself eager to win over Chas after learning she didn’t approve of his sudden engagement to Aaron.
However, he was quick to come to her aid when she fell and hit her head, with suspicion falling on Ella for potentially drugging her. Manpreet had a meeting with her blackmailer, while Joe Tate demonstrated his innocence and surprised Manpreet with his generosity by offering to help pay off the person threatening her.
