Emmerdale spoilers follow from Thursday’s episode (March 13), which is available to watch now on streaming service ITVX but hasn’t yet aired on ITV1.
Emmerdale airs an unmissable episode on Thursday evening as two huge secrets are finally exposed.
Steph Miligan and Vanessa Woodfield are both left shocked as their separate emotional storylines come to a head in big scenes.
Over at Mill Cottage, the time has come for Steph to finally discover the truth about the death of her grandfather Anthony Fox.
Steph is currently on a desperate mission to find out what really happened to Anthony, who disappeared from the village in January.
Viewers know that Ruby Fox-Miligan killed her abusive father and was assisted by her husband Caleb as she tried to cover up the crime.
In Thursday’s episode, Steph piles pressure on Ruby and Caleb as she’s prepared to report them to the police if they’re not honest with her.
This leads to huge scenes as Steph finally learns the full story behind Anthony’s evil abuse of Ruby and the circumstances surrounding his demise.
Speaking recently, Georgia Jay – who plays Steph – spoke about how her character is likely to react to the upsetting revelations.
She said: “Steph would definitely not throw her parents under the bus, that’s for sure. I don’t think she’d want anyone going down for it.
“In terms of whether she’d be able to cope, it’s a hard one because in those circumstances you’re not going to rock the boat anymore.
“You’re dealing with something on such a large scale, so sending people down for murder or trying to focus on that avenue wouldn’t really help you that much.
“It’s a hard one because I don’t think anyone would cope massively well. But I definitely think Steph would stay true to her family.”
Elsewhere in the village, Vanessa’s world is also turned upside-down when she stumbles across a clue which points to Mary Goskirk as Suzy Merton’s mysterious other woman.
Vanessa has just discovered that Suzy cheated on her before she died and was planning to leave her. How will Mary react when Vanessa confronts her?
Fans can see exactly how the drama plays out when the episode airs tonight at 7.30pm on ITV1, or right now on ITVX.
