Emmerdale fans are in for a treat as a whirlwind of drama is set to unfold in the Dales next week.

Joe Tate’s enigmatic health issue will finally come to light as viewers get a glimpse of what’s inside his mysterious black case – but what implications will this have for the villagers? In another twist, Dawn Fletcher grapples with guilt over her affair with Joe, only for her husband Billy to stun her with his own revelation.

In addition, a fresh face causes quite a stir and Aaron Dingle drops a massive wedding shocker – much to mum Chas’s dismay….

Joe continues to conceal his health problem and deliberately avoids Dawn’s romantic advances, resolved to keep her at a distance from both him and his enigmatic suitcase. As she departs, we see him open the mystery case and disclose its contents.

Meanwhile, when Manpreet brings Billy home, we witness a tense moment between them. As he enters, Dawn masks the real reason behind her foul mood. It appears that both Dawn and Billy are concealing guilt for betraying their partner.

2. ) Billy drops a bombshell

Later, looking more haggard than ever, Joe opens the door to Crowley, and as they converse it becomes evident what his plan is… The following day Joe attempts to reconcile with Dawn for his behaviour the previous day.

Billy, from Emmerdale, is seen feeling uncomfortable around Manpreet following their near-kiss incident. After returning home, he confesses to Dawn about his online chats with another woman, leaving her in a state of shock.

Despite his confession, Billy is relieved when Dawn forgives him, unaware that she has been hiding something far worse. However, their conversation leaves Dawn in a state of confusion.

3.) Newcomer Kammy makes his debut

Ross is seen driving a flashy new pick-up truck, which raises Mack’s suspicions due to recent local farm machinery thefts. Despite failing to prevent a quad bike from being stolen from Moira’s farm, Mack quickly points the finger at Ross.

Later, Sarah encounters a young lad struggling to start a quad bike on a country lane. Although suspicious of his story, she finds herself intrigued.As Ross approaches, it remains to be seen whose side Sarah will take.

Sarah realises the quad bike is stolen, but surprisingly covers for Kammy and expresses interest in joining his scheme. Soon, Kammy and Sarah are seen racing stolen quad bikes across a field, bringing some excitement into Sarah’s life. But what will Charity’s reaction be when she catches Sarah and Kammy getting cosy?

4.) John pops the question

Lastly, John decides to propose to Aaron. He shares his insecurities about Chas not accepting him and plans to win her over. Chas and Liam are taken aback when they walk into a surprise engagement party thrown for them at the Woolpack.

Aaron is eager for John to receive the recognition he deserves. However, things get awkward when Ella unintentionally crashes their moment. John takes the opportunity to propose to Aaron and is overjoyed when he accepts.

But his happiness is short-lived when Mandy, who has been eavesdropping, announces their engagement to everyone in the pub, leaving Chas less than pleased.

5. ) Chas collapses

Chas soon voices her concerns to Aaron about his sudden engagement, unaware that John is listening in.

Ella vents her frustrations about Chas to John in private, making John increasingly aware that Chas hasn’t approved of his engagement to Aaron. A spilled drink quickly escalates into a public argument between Chas and Ella, which becomes the talk of the town.

Instead of focusing on his engagement to Aaron, John remains fixated on Chas’ reaction. Vic encourages him to be patient in winning her over. Will John manage to get Chas on his side? Chas suddenly faints in the pub and hits her head – can John come to her aid?

6. ) Manpreet’s blackmailing ordeal continues

Manpreet continues to struggle with being blackmailed and hopes that if she pays up today, her nightmare will soon end. At the Cricket Pavilion, Manpreet prepares herself to finally meet her blackmailer face-to-face.

When Joe shows up, Manpreet confronts him about his cruelty. When she eventually believes his claims of innocence, she becomes worried about who the real blackmailer could be. Manpreet considers Joe’s offer to help her pay off the blackmailer. But will she discover what’s really happening?
