Beth Cordingly in tears on Emmerdale set amid fresh Ruby trauma

There looks like there is more Emmerdale trauma ahead for Ruby Fox-Miligan.

Actress Beth Cordingly has revealed she has been filming lots of crying scenes with her on-screen family in the ITV soap.

And with the net currently closing in on Ruby, who recently murdered her abusive father Anthony Fox (Nicholas Day), Beth has hinted she her character will manage to keep herself out of jail.

In an update on Instagram, Beth told fans she is still shooting scnes in the village and in Mill Cottage – albeit with plenty of tears.

On Thursday, she shared a video of herself in a car singing along to Taylor Swift on the way back to the soap’s studio in Leeds.

‘In at 7, filmed in studio, over to villagio, did more stuff, had some glam photos taken, heading back to film some more crying in Mill with the Miligans…’ she wrote.

‘Taylor’s playing on the radio #lovestory, me and the taxi driver are singing along…and there’s sheep. Not too shabby, is it?’

While Emmerdale films around six to eight weeks in advance of what airs on TV, fans are currently seeing Ruby panicking that her daughter Steph Miligan (Georgia Jay) is about to uncover her killer secret.

With Anthony believed to be missing, this week sees Steph go on the hunt for clues of her grandfather’s whereabouts, convinced her mum is hiding something.

And when she then finds a gun, she is certain it has something to do with Anthony’s disappearance.

‘Steph comes straight out with it and confronts [her dad Caleb Miligan] with the revolver,’ Georgia said.

‘He is straight away very defensive and comes up with some story that it was used as a threat for Cain after he found out about Ruby and Cain together. He’s quite quick on it and comes up with quite an elaborate story which has a bit of truth, so he’s quick on his feet to think of that.

‘That’s what draws Steph to go and check on the facts with Cain. Caleb has come up with this story but there are still flaws in it and things that she doesn’t believe Caleb would have done.

‘She goes to Cain to have a down to earth conversation with him, to ask him straight out for him to confirm the story, so she can discover whether Caleb is lying or not.’

While Ruby is close to cracking, does Beth’s recent Instagram post suggest Ruby will manage to find a way out round Steph’s suspicions?
