EastEnders fans are convinced Sharon Watts (Letitia Dean) will fall pregnant in upcoming scenes but Teddy Mitchell (Roland Manookian) will not be the unborn child’s father in a huge DNA twist.
During Wednesday’s (February 26) episode of the BBC One soap, Sharon cheated on Teddy as she found herself back in the arms of ex-husband Grant Mitchell (Ross Kemp), Teddy’s cousin.
On the day of her release from hospital after being caught up in the horror Queen Vic explosion, Sharon found herself smooching with Grant as they got hot and heavy in her kitchen.
Having been devastated by the death of Martin Fowler (James Bye), Sharon was left in need of some comfort and was glad to accept it from Grant when he came round to see her.
The former lovers reminisced on times gone by as well as speaking about their less than rosy pasts. As they prepared to say goodbye to one another, Sharon and Grant could not wipe the smiles from their faces as they stood up and shared a flirty hug.
As they continued to laugh and joke, Grant picked Sharon up and held her in his arms as she giggled at his antics before they launched into a long and passionate kiss.
As they continued to kiss, the scene cut to Sharon’s boyfriend Teddy waiting for her at Martin’s vigil drinks. As Sharon and Grant continued to get steamier Grant ripped off his jacket as the passionate smooch continued and fans suspect that Sharon could end up falling pregnant with Grant’s child.
Taking to X, formerly known as Twitter, one fan penned: “Sharon is going to get pregnant off Grant isn’t she. I can see it coming.” Another added: “I swear if Sharon gets pregnant at like 56 via Grant I actually won’t be able to cope. I’m sorry but that ship has SAILED! Ur about 10 years too late Chris Clenshaw.”
A third person said: “Sharon will get pregnant off Grant – just like she did off Keanu/ Phil in 2019/20. Clenshaw loves nostalgia and this could be what pulls Grant back to Walford for good.” A fourth agreed: “Sharon is going to regret what she’s just done – she’s grieving and isn’t thinking straight. I hope she doesn’t become pregnant with Grant’s baby just like with Phil.Teddy is going to go ballistic when he finds out especially when he discovers Barney is Zack’s son too.”
