The following article contains spoilers from an episode of Emmerdale that hasn’t aired on ITV yet, but can be viewed on ITVX.
A vigil was held in tonight’s episode of Emmerdale following Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough), Leyla Harding (Roxy Shahidi) and Amy Wyatt’s (Natalie Ann Jamieson) deaths.
The three women died after the limo crash last week, which only occurred because Charity Dingle (Emma Atkins) had to swerve the vehicle when she spotted Noah (Jack Downham) wandering into the middle of the road.
As tonight’s episode began, Charity remained convinced that Jacob’s (Joe-Warren Plant) mate Rich was responsible for spiking Noah.
Sorry, this video isn’t available any more.
She asked Belle (Eden Taylor-Draper) to get in contact with him. She did just that, and later met Rich at The Hide.
When Charity arrived, it became apparent that Rich was innocent due to not even being aware the crash had taken place.
While they were talking, multiple residents had gathered in the village hall for the vigil, held by Charles (Kevin Mathurin).

As he spoke, characters such as Matty (Ash Palmisciano) and Liam (Jonny McPherson) attempted to process the enormity of what had happened.
Sneaking into the back was Noah. He had previously been told to not attend, but it was clear he was feeling bad about his involvement in the disaster.
Just as it drew to a close, Noah stood up to leave. The sudden noise made Jacob turn around and as soon as he clocked Noah, he confronted him.

Jacob believes that Noah is solely to blame for the crash and therefore his mum’s death. He had a go at his friend, but the situation was stopped due to Joe (Ned Porteous) intervening.
When Charity got there and spotted Joe, she grew suspicious. Why would someone who has no affiliation with the three people who died, attend a vigil in their memory?
