Emmerdale aired another major Joe Tate twist this week, as a sinister flashback scene revealed that he was involved in his half-brother Noah Dingle’s recent spiking incident.
Joe was seen at a private hospital with a disorientated Noah, having teamed up with a dodgy doctor for unknown reasons.
Next week’s scenes see someone arrive at Home Farm to accuse Joe of being responsible for the spiking and, in turn, the recent limo crash.
Kim isn’t sure what to believe, so she recruits Lydia Dingle to spy on Joe until further notice.
Meanwhile, Noah starts to experience further flashbacks over what happened – and this time they’re more vivid. Will Joe’s guilt be exposed?

Emmerdale’s emotional vigil

Emmerdale fans should also watch out for an emotional vigil as the villagers gather together to pay their last respects to Suzy Merton, Leyla Harding and Amy Barton.

EastEnders favourite Denise Fox chose Jack Branning over Ravi Gulati in the show’s live episode this week. The romantic scenes were determined by a groundbreaking public vote between Jack and Ravi, allowing fans to have control over storylines for the first time.

After the big reveal was performed live to the nation, Aaron Thiara – who plays Ravi – dropped a cryptic teaser on Instagram. He said: “You may think it’s the end. But we have only just begun…”
Meanwhile, Diane Parish – who plays Denise – poured cold water on claims that her character had chosen the dull outcome.
