A death on Emmerdale has happened without anyone realising, according to fans who are convinced a villager is inside the sunken limo.

Over on the Dales this week, the soap aired a shock stunt when two limos, filled with 17 villagers, left the village for a fun night out. Things took a deadly turn though when the vehicles crashed.

The ladies limo, which was playing host to the likes of Kerry Wyatt (Laura Norton), Amy Barton (Natalie Ann Jamieson), Vanessa Woodfield (Michelle Hardwick) and girlfriend Suzy Merton (Martelle Edinborough) plunged into an icy lake after the crash.

The crash happened after Charity (Emma Atkins) veered off the road to avoid hitting Noah Dingle (Jack Downham) who was wandering around alone and confused.

In a tragic turn of events, the crash resulted in the death of Suzy who hit her head on the roof of the vehicle. Terrified, the others then managed to escape from the sinking limo and make it to the riverbank.

However, when Amy attempted to cross the frozen ice, she ended up falling through and into the water below. In a huge twist though, it was revealed that she wasn’t alone.

A decaying human body could be seen in the murky waters – leaving Amy startled as she attempted to swim away. In Tuesday’s episode (February 18) Amy managed to get pulled up out of the water and to safety.

Once the ladies were all out and on dry land, in heartbreaking scenes, Vanessa watched the limo sink into the lake, taking down her beloved girlfriend Suzy. But now, in what would be a game-changing twist fans are convinced someone else was in the limo boot – and has gone down with it.

Standing their thoughts online, fans reckon Anthony Fox’s (Nicholas Day) body was dumped inside the limo – before the vehicle set off.

Viewers will recall that abuser Anthony was murdered by daughter Ruby (Beth Cordingly). However, John Sugden (Oliver Farnworth) covered up the crime, thinking Aaron Dingle (Danny Miller) had murdered Anthony, and John disposed of the body.

However, fans ‘know’ where his body is – and it’s in the boot of the limo. On an Emmerdale Facebook fan page, one person said: “I think John put Anthony in the boot to hide him and the police will find him along with Suzy.” Someone else wrote: “I thought that too”. A third agreed: “I like this theory! More things still to come I reckon!”
