EastEnders’ Lauren Branning is to hide a major secret from her loved ones, as her pregnancy story continues.

Lauren is still struggling with the pain from her injuries that were caused by the club crush earlier this year.

She continues to struggle with managing this pain, and she takes things out on both Peter and Louie, causing tension in the family.

This week, Lauren makes an appointment with the GP but is frustrated to be told that she needs to have her medication reduced and can’t get another prescription.

But Anna then makes her realise that her symptoms might be caused by something else. Lauren takes a pregnancy test and is shocked to discover that it is positive.

In scenes that will air next week, Lauren’s struggles continue, as she snaps at Peter in the café. The couple later have another argument, and Penny is forced to intervene.

Penny takes her sister back to No.27, where Lauren reveals all about her pregnancy. Knowing the full picture, Penny agrees to keep her plight a secret.

Lauren carries on concealing the true extent of her struggles from Peter, and she blames her pain on morning sickness. Things get worse for the pair when Peter makes an insensitive comment at McKlunky’s.

At the café, Lauren has a chat with Amy, who is also struggling to deal with her own crush injuries. The pair connect and decide to have a movie night together.

Meanwhile, last month Peter stopped working for Junior, after finding out that he was blocking one of the exits on the night of the club crush. But he now decides to swallow his pride and ask for his job back, to which Junior agrees.

Lauren and Peter continue to argue, and Peter begins to wonder what is going on when Lauren seems reluctant to take Louie to school.

Peter has an honest conversation with his sister Anna in the café, where he expresses his concern for Lauren. Anna gives him a lot to think about, and Peter later decides to confront Lauren and ask her if she is drinking.
