EastEnders is gearing up to celebrate its 40th anniversary with a major decision for Denise Fox as Jack Branning resorts to a grand gesture to win her back.
Denise has been having an affair with Ravi Gulati, keeping it a secret so as not to hurt her daughter Chelsea, who previously had a relationship with Ravi and doesn’t trust him.
The affair was finally exposed in recent scenes, leaving Chelsea furious and Jack heartbroken. In an episode airing next week, it seems the detective will try anything to get Denise back after she vowed she’s had enough of both him and Ravi. 
Still reeling from her mum’s confession, Chelsea moves in with Jack and Penny, despite Denise pleading with her to stay at home.
At Jack’s, Chelsea and Penny don’t get off to a great start, but they’re able to smooth things over at The Vic.
Determined to have a chance with Denise, Jack attempts to wow her with a romantic gesture before revealing his true feelings.
Later on, Denise heads to Jack’s, but what will she say to him?
