Steffy’s resentment toward Hope stems from the belief that Hope was the one who pushed Carter to betray Ridge and take over the design process, something Steffy feels was a direct attack on her family and legacy.

However, Steffy’s plan may not go as smoothly as she hoped. Daphne, who was supposed to remain loyal to Steffy’s wishes, begins to develop feelings for a man at Forrester Creations—someone Steffy never anticipated: Ridge Forrester. Though Daphne is a classmate of Steffy’s, and initially seems trustworthy, her heart seems to be pulling her in an entirely different direction. With Ridge being the epitome of power and charm, it’s no surprise that Daphne could be drawn to him.
