The recent Emmerdale spoilers revealed that the star who exited the show in the Christmas episodes has returned for a cameo. The actor was at the center of a major storyline, and his exit was kept under wraps until the actor himself confirmed the same. Though fans had their predictions, his return for the cameo was a surprise for us. But is this return temporary or permanent? Let’s find out.

Is the Actor’s Return Temporary?

Dean Andrews, who played Will Taylor, stepped out of the Dales in the Christmas episodes. Viewers would know that the character has passed away from a heart attack in the show after a furious confrontation with his wife, Kim. But Dawn had her suspicions regarding her father’s sudden death and blamed Joe Tate for that. However, she had to reconsider her behavior when the post-mortem results were fine.

Dawn apologized to Joe for the blame, but soon, the tables turned. She found a USB stick hidden among Will’s belongings with her name written on it. Out of curiosity, Dawn looked into it, only to find a video of Will dated late last year. When she played it, she saw Will addressing her and blaming Kim for his death. Though Dawn’s initial suspect was Joe, and she felt sorry for Kim, would she suspect Kim now?

Regarding Dean Andrews’ return, there are no updates from the showmakers yet. However, the actor has himself confirmed his permanent exit from the show. In a video, the actor shared that he had left the Dales around eight weeks ago and that there’s no chance of him coming back. However, we hope to see him soon on other new projects.
