BREAKING NEWS !! Emmerdale revenge confirmed as legend is shoved into coffin – and the police arrive

Dawn Fletcher (Olivia Bromley) shoves step-mum Kim Tate (Claire King)

into Will Taylor’s (Dean Andrews) coffin this New Year in Emmerdale.

It’s set to be a dramatic 2025 as Dawn declares war over her father’s untimely Christmas death.

Viewers of the ITV soap were in for a huge festive shock this week when the character clutched his chest and fell to the floor in pain.

The event was sparked from returnee Joe Tate (Ned Porteous) informing Kim all about her husband’s vicious plan to take her down.

She smirked as Will dragged the decorations down, believing he was suffering a panic attack. Mirroring scenes from 1997, when she watched her then-husband Frank Tate (Norman Bowler) die, it soon became apparent that his condition was far more serious.

Kim fought tears as she performed CPR, desperately trying to save her husband’s life.

Her efforts were too late – Will is now dead, and she’s a widow once again.

In upcoming scenes, Dawn is increasingly suspicious and finding it hard to welcome Joe into the family fold.

The situation worsens when the coroner calls to tell her about her dad’s cause of death. She’s sickened to hear that their report has concluded that he ‘died of natural causes’, therefore ruling out her idea that Kim was behind it.

As she begins to sort through his belongings, she discovers a USB stick that is marked for her attention and contains a shocking video from her dad, where he accuses Kim of his death.

It seems he’d prepared for every eventual outcome!

Dawn’s husband Billy (Jay Kontzle) is unconvinced, and asks her to put it on the back burner on the day of Will’s funeral. As the procession continues through the village, she sees red.

The locals are taken aback as she mentions the incriminating video she found, with Kim defending her corner and a huge argument breaking out.

Soon, Dawn launches towards Kim and pushes her into Will’s coffin, before storming out.

Yikes.

Later, at the cemetery, his casket is lowered into the ground as an emotional Kim watches on. Wiping away the tears, she sees blue lights in the distance – Dawn has called the police.

Will Kim be arrested?
