EastEnders is set to introduce a new feud between the Panesar and
Mitchell families, after a misunderstanding involving Avani.
Avani is currently seeing older boy Mason, and this week she
will face pressure to sleep with her secret boyfriend, before Priya finds out about it through Tommy.
In scenes that will air next week, Nugget sees Avani texting a boy, and she urges him not to tell anyone. But Ravi also has his suspicions, and he confiscates Avani’s phone.
He asks Priya for help getting into the phone, but Priya assures him he shouldn’t be worried, as Avani has told him that she is going out with Barney – unaware that this is a lie.
Reassured, Ravi doesn’t go through his daughter’s messages and returns her phone, just before she meets up with Mason again.
She decides to tell Mason that she doesn’t want to sleep with him, but he then tells her to leave and their interaction leaves Avani with a busted lip.
Meanwhile, sparks are flying between Ravi and Priya, but Avani arrives back on the Square upset. Believing that Barney is her boyfriend, Ravi thinks he is to blame.
Ravi decides to teach Barney a lesson, which doesn’t go down well with his dad Teddy, while Avani makes his dad stop what he is doing.
The situation between Teddy and Ravi escalates, and the police have to be called. Later, Teddy aims to take revenge, and calls Harry with a plan.
The nature of Teddy and Harry’s revenge is yet to be revealed, but the next day the Panesars try to come to terms with the events of the previous night.
The family discuss the best way to take revenge on the Mitchells, but Suki plays peacemaker, saying she doesn’t want any more of her family to end up in prison.
It is decided that Nish and Suki will try to reach out to Teddy together, and the pair arrange to meet up with him in the café.
Elsewhere, Teddy wants to try and make Barney feel part of the family, but he isn’t successful, and Barney ends up making a big decision.
Harry later spots Barney on the phone and is intrigued, but he and Teddy become concerned by what they overhear.
