Emmerdale ‘confirms’ shocking end for Kim Tate in terrifying woodland fight

It’s never a good idea to sleep with someone behind your wife’s back, but

the consequences of Will’s (Dean Andrews) dalliance with Rose (Christine Tremarco)

will be of epic proportions, with Emmerdale’s Kim Tate (Claire King) facing death.

Since that fateful day, Will has been receiving threats and demands for cash, otherwise his indiscretion would be exposed. The biggest mistake Will has made in this whole saga – other than actually bedding Rose, which was arguably quite the lack of judgement – was choosing to prioritise saving lives in the barn fire. It meant he missed the drop with his blackmailer where he should have paid them off with £10,000. Now the mystery extortionist wants £50,000. Will is now so desperate he turns to the one person he hates the most for help – Caleb (Will Ash). At this point it would almost be less costly in both pride and money to come clean to Kim. So, after sleeping with one adversary, he jumps into bed with another.

He manages to secure a loan from Caleb using the Haulage business as collateral. Will now believes that he’s solved all his problems and starts making grand promises to Kim. But then he receives a dreaded text – the Blackmailer wants their money, and as he’s not yet paid up, they’re angry. Once he receives the £40k from Caleb he lets the person know he’s ready to pay. He then tracks down Jimmy (Nick Miles) and confesses what he’s done with their business. Jimmy is horrified, but Jimmy’s ire is the least of Will’s problems. As he returns to Home Farm he makes a shocking discovery – lunch is burning, and Kim is missing. It’s as bad as it seems – Will receives a call and learns the awful truth, his blackmailer has abducted her, AND he discovers her prized horse is missing.

The stakes are now way higher than 50 grand. Actor Dean Andrews reveals to Metro.co.uk that Will’s desperation is about to escalate: ‘Kim’s kidnapped, the horse has been taken, somebody wants fifty grand, he’s up the creek. ‘And he doesn’t really know what to do. He gets very panicky about it all. He’s basically at the end of his tether and will do anything to make this problem go away.’ He is given instructions to save his wife’s life and follows them to a T, arriving in the woods ready for the confrontation. Only instead of finding his wife, he finds a mannequin dressed like her. He’s terrified and hearing lots of voices that leave him disorientated. It’s a misdirection and now he must venture further into the woods. What’s waiting for him inside and how far will he go to save his wife?
