some exciting changes and new faces at Firehouse 51. The upcoming season will

see familiar characters like Kelly Severide, Stella Kidd, Christopher Herrmann,

Randall McHolland, and Joe Cruz returning to the squad. However, the squad will have a new leader following the departure of Chief Wallace Boden, played by Eamonn Walker. Dermot Mulroney will be stepping into the role of Chief Dom Pascal, a cheerful and experienced firefighter who brings a different leadership style to Firehouse 51. In the season 12 finale, Boden decided to run for Deputy Commissioner, leading to an emotional farewell to his crew.

Meanwhile, Severide expressed his desire to start a family with Stella, setting the stage for new developments in their relationship. Season 13 will introduce viewers to Jack Damon, played by Michael Bradway, who drops a bombshell by revealing that he is Severide’s brother. This revelation adds an intriguing dynamic to the storyline and promises to shake things up at Firehouse 51. Joining the cast as a series regular is Jocelyn Hudon, who plays paramedic Lyla Novak.

Hudon’s character will bring a fresh perspective to the team as she navigates her role within Ambulance 61. Additionally, actor Jake Lockett has been promoted to a series regular after his portrayal of Sam Carver. Carver’s confession of love to paramedic Violet sets the stage for a compelling storyline that will unfold in the upcoming season. As fans eagerly await the return of Chicago Fire on September 25th, they can look forward to new episodes airing on NBC and Peacock. With a mix of familiar faces and exciting newcomers, season 13 promises to deliver the high-stakes drama and heartfelt moments that viewers have come to love.
