Wed July 31, 2024: Today on Bold and the Beautiful, Li is unconvinced by Katie’s

conclusions, Steffy tells her father to leave without her, and Bill is persuaded by Poppy.

Tuesday’s Early B&B recap: Poppy confides in Bill about Tom, while Hope gloats

when Steffy forgets her passport. Brooke and Ridge are on the jet, wondering what’s causing Steffy’s delay. At the airport, Steffy tosses her bathing suit and hair extensions into the air while frantically searching her bags for her passport. Her father calls her and she explains she can’t find her passport. She hands Deuce the phone and he explains there’s nothing he can do without her passport. If they don’t leave now, they will miss the landing slot and their meeting with the prince. Steffy tells them to go without her. At Forrester Creations, Hope looks at Steffy’s passport and recalls trying to give it to her before smirking. As she smugly tells herself Steffy won’t be able to board the flight, Carter enters and says that Ridge, Brooke, and Steffy must be boarding now.

They talk about Steffy being the third wheel on the trip. He knows she was hoping it could have just been a romantic getaway for her mom and Ridge. CBS They joke about Brooke and Steffy fighting in front of the prince. He thinks the three of them representing Forrester will be good for them. Once he walks out, Steffy blows in. “Shouldn’t you be on a jet to Monaco?” asks Hope. Steffy searches for her passport and eventually finds it on her desk. Hope surmises that Ridge and Brooke took off without her. Steffy says Hope got what she wanted. Ridge and Brooke take off. He feels terrible about Steffy not being with them. She clearly doesn’t. She assures him they will have a magical time in Monte Carlo. Just the two of them. They kiss.

In Li’s office, Katie and Li talk about the drugs Poppy took. Katie has also learned that she has a connection to Tom. She asks Li if it’s possible that Poppy and her drugs are responsible for Tom and Hollis’ deaths. Li wouldn’t give her credit for that. She’s capable of a lot, like breaking up marriages and manipulating people, but not this. Katie tries to spell out how this is possible. Li doesn’t buy it. She’s sure Bill is Luna’s father. She can understand her frustration but the truth is that her sister and Luna are part of the Spencer family. She’s not her sister’s biggest fan… but she assumes Sheila is the murderer. Katie points out she’s already been questioned and released. Li assumes the killer is still out there then. At Bill’s, Poppy admits to him that she had a relationship with Tom. “And he could have been Luna’s father?” asks Bill. He’s having trouble wrapping his head around this.

Sobbing, she tells him her heart belongs to him. She begs him to tell her he understands. He can’t believe what he’s hearing and that he’s hearing it now. He can only imagine what she’s been going through as some washed-up wannabe rockstar stalked her. He can understand why she wouldn’t want that guy to be Luna’s father. Coughing, she tells him how much his understanding means to her. Deep down, she has always known that he is Luna’s father. He reminds her that Li confirmed that he is Luna’s father and he’s not questioning it. That amazes her. She admits that part of her held a grudge about him never calling her, but he has knocked down all her walls and shown her what an amazing man he is. He’s not sure he deserves the praise but they mean a lot to him. He assures her that Katie is just being protective of them because of their son. But he believes her and will be there for her.

They hug. They go up to a bedroom and she tells him she can’t express how grateful she is to the man who he has turned out to be and the father he already is. He’s been the missing piece in her family and she’s so happy they are together. Bill promises nothing will tear them apart.
