However, what shocked him even more was a photo of Poppy and Tom together. This photo confirmed that Poppy and Tom’s relationship was deeper than he had imagined. The question now was whether Poppy was involved in Tom and Hollis’s deaths.

Bill faced a series of challenges as he tried to piece together new clues. The relationship between him and Poppy was bound to change drastically once the truth was revealed. The clues provided by Bill soon led to a shocking development when Police Baker summoned Poppy for questioning.

As Poppy entered the interrogation room, the atmosphere was tense. Baker wanted to know how she would explain the photo of her and Tom. Despite her stress, Poppy remained calm and insisted that she and Tom were just friends, denying any emotional involvement. However, her words did not ease Baker’s suspicions.

Baker had another significant clue: a paternity test paper found in Tom’s backpack, showing that Tom was Luna’s biological father—a fact that Poppy had tried to keep hidden. Before his death, Tom intended to make this relationship public, but Poppy did everything to stop him.

Baker then presented another crucial piece of evidence: surveillance footage from the restaurant. The video showed a woman with her face covered entering the restaurant and putting a strange powder in Tom’s glass. The police noticed that the woman’s height, gait, and gestures closely resembled Poppy’s. After extensive comparison, the police determined that it was indeed Poppy.

With this mounting evidence, Baker had no doubt that Poppy intentionally killed Tom. The interrogation grew more intense as Baker confronted her. Poppy tried to justify her actions, but it was to no avail. The truth was gradually being revealed, and now the question was whether Poppy could escape the law’s punishment.
